Kid Cubs Swim Classes
Our Kid Cubs classes are designed for children aged 5 to 10 years who are ready to swim independently, without a parent in the pool. We keep our classes small, with a maximum of 5 children per group, and our teachers are in the water to provide hands-on guidance.
At Happy Cubs, we focus on building strong, confident swimmers while ensuring a fun and safe learning environment. Our Learn to Swim program includes:
• Water Safety Skills: Teaching children how to safely enter and exit the pool, float on their back and understand basic water safety rules.
• Swim Stroke Development: Introducing and refining front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly techniques in a supportive environment.
• Breath Control & Confidence: Helping children learn how to control their breathing, submerge confidently and swim with proper rhythm.
• Building Endurance: Developing stamina through fun and structured activities, preparing them for longer swims and more advanced techniques.

Class days: Tuesday, Friday
Class duration: 30 minutes
Term length: 10 weeks
Term cost: €230
Friday term dates: 23rd May | 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th June | 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th July | 8th August
Tuesday term dates: 27th May | 10th, 17th, 24th June | 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th July | 12th, 19th August

Swimming Pool
Kept at a temperature of over 32 degrees so it is lovely and warm for your bear cub. This pool that is not open to the public during your lessons so the environment is fun, calm and private.
Parking
There are plenty of car spaces around the facility.
Changing Facilities
There are separate mama and papa bear changing rooms, as well as private changing rooms. Warm showers are available.
Family Viewing Area
There’s a designated family viewing area to the side of the pool. It's hot on poolside so don't wear any winter woollies.
Pool depth
The pool depth for your lesson will be 1.2 meters. All mama and papa bears’ feet will be planted firmly on the pool floor. You do not need to know how to swim to attend our lessons.
